But the losses just continue a trend that has seen New York go 3-8 SU in the past 11 meetings overall, and winless (0-5 SU) in the past five clashes in Florida.

The over trend between the teams has also spilled over to this series, as five of the past seven meetings overall have gone over, as well as four of the past five in Florida.

The Mets have been struggling overall lately, going 2-4 SU in their past six games overall and 1-4 SU in their past five games on the road. The Mets were doing well before that, going 16-7 SU in their past 23 games.

Florida had lost four straight before picking up the two wins against New York. The total has gone over in nine of Florida's last 13 games.

Righthander Michael Pelfrey (ERA: 2.74, W/L: 10-2) gets the start for the Mets tonight. He’ll face righthander Chris Volstad (ERA: 4.40, W/L: 4-7) of the Marlins.
